Green House Effect
The greenhouse effect caused by rising concentrations of carbon dioxide and other gases in the atmosphere. The increase in gas concentration is caused by high combustion of fuel oil, coal and other organic fuels, beyond the ability of plants and the ocean to absorb it. The energy absorbed is then reflected back in the form of infrared radiation beclouds and the earth’s surface. But most of the infrared emitted by clouds and the earth retained other gases, to be returned to the earth’s surface. Under normal circumstances, the greenhouse effect is necessary, because if not then the earth will be very cold temperatures. Elevated temperature of the earth’s surface will result in a very extreme climate changes on earth. This interferes with the condition of forests and other ecosystems, thereby reducing the absorption of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.
